End of NaBloPoMo 2009

NaBloPoMo, World Wide Web 30 November 2009 2 Comments

This is my last entry for NaBloPoMo. I managed to do 30/30 entries although most of them are short ones. This whole experience helped me a lot especially in blogging. Although I don’t think there will be another month where I’ll blog daily. Once every few days, probably. After NaBloPoMo, I’m thinking of fixing my blog posts, stick to a schedule and give this blog a new layout too. To those of you who gave a comment for most of my entries, thank you so much! I know I also owe you guys comments in return and I’ll definitely work on that the moment I give this blog a redesign.

And to those joining NaBloPoMo next month or in the next few months, I wish you the best of luck!

Anyone here who has a We ♥ It account? Since I’m one of those who are constantly in need of inspiration, I finally decided to create an account there. I’m iridescently over there so feel free to follow me and I’ll follow you back. Just let me know your username here if you do have an account there. I haven’t added anything to my account yet though. I’ll work on that tomorrow once I have the time.

Twitter Stuff

NaBloPoMo, World Wide Web 23 November 2009 1 Comment

Since I spend majority of my online life updating my Twitter status, I’ve expressed alongside Christina and Tess some Twitter features we’d like to see in the future especially now that they’ve implemented Lists.

  • Have the option to make posts either public or locked. Right now, it’s either your entire account and all the tweets in it are public or they’re locked.
  • Have filters so that only certain people can read them if you want. This is really helpful to people who talk about fandom 90% of the time.

Those are basically the ones we can think of so far and it’s quite obvious they’re inspired by some of Livejournal’s features. We think that these are the LJ features that would be beneficial and would be nice to see on Twitter as well.

How about you? If you’re also a Twitter user, what features would you like to see?
