Just like what the title of the entry says, it sure sucks when you don’t have the money especially when all these great events come popping in the last minute. This doesn’t only apply to events but also to other things as well. Bad timing, seriously! I want to see some theater productions (RENT and Sweeney Todd) and then there’s also the Paramore Live in Manila concert in March 2010. Suddenly, I want to have work already just so I can have enough money for these things. I’m hoping there will be a contest for free tickets for the Paramore one. *crosses fingers*

Who doesn’t love gorgeous photographs? They’re usually where I get inspiration from when working on anything whether it’s a school-related project/homework, an online site or just a simple personal project/artwork. I currently have a digital camera but I’ve also been wanting to buy a lomography camera because of the gorgeous dreamy quality of the photos produced in one. Plus, I miss film cameras! They remind me of my childhood days.
Lomography.com is a good source for anything lomo-related and I’ve been browsing the site for some camera ideas but it’s still hard to decide on which camera to buy. Hopefully, I’ll finally make up my mind soon and see if my aunt can buy me one for Christmas. *crosses fingers*

I love planners! Having one really helps me to prioritize things especially since I’m trying to balance both my online life and my real-life. And so, as early as now, I’m already on the lookout for a 2010 planner to use. I’m hoping to save up for something in this list but we’ll have to see. I have a budget but I guess there’s nothing wrong with including even the expensive ones because hey, they look oh-so-pretty! You can’t blame me for that.
- The 2010 Starbucks Coffee Planner (For more pictures of the planner, just browse the guy’s photostream.) – All you have to do is collect 17 stickers (Last time, I think it was 24 or 22 stickers.). You get 1 sticker for every coffee beverage that you buy. Unfortunately for me, as much as I do love coffee, I don’t think I’m willing to spend at least Php100+ 17 times for coffee just for this planner especially since I don’t even work yet. Total: If one coffee beverage is at least 100 Philippine Pesos, multiply that by 17, that would be at least P1700 for a planner.
- Moleskine Colour A Month Daily Planner Box Set – I can’t believe Krissy showed me this! It’s Moleskine! And it’s rainbow-colored! You can’t go wrong with that. I WANT. But of course, I have to deal with the typical Moleskine price. Total: I just found out that National Bookstore has it here for Php 2,650.00 or approx. $57.61. More expensive than Amazon’s but then again if one considers the shipping, it makes sense.
- Belle de Jour 2010 Power Planner – This one looks good. I haven’t browsed the 2010 edition yet but I was able to browse the 2009 edition and it was beautiful! But I don’t know. I wasn’t feeling it after checking it out. *shrugs* Total: Php 598.00
- Those teNeues notebooks – They’re all really gorgeous! My favorites are the ones in the Impressionism, Expressionism and Art Nouveau category and the Design category. They have a lot of categories but unfortunately, not all of them are available at Fully Booked where I usually see the notebooks diplayed. Total: Whoops! I forgot to check but usually they’re above Php 500. I’m waiting for them to be on sale on Fully Booked and that’s around January already, I think.
Those are just some of my options. If you would like to share something else, feel free to let me know so I can check them out if they’re also available here locally. :)
