Since Trinoma (one of the malls in Quezon City) has a sale until Sunday, I went shopping earlier with my mom. I ended up buying a cardigan and a blouse at Zara. In addition to that, a new bag and 2 new sets or earrings. I’m sorry if I forgot to post pictures though because I just got home. I would’ve bought more stuff if only I had enough money. There are just too many gorgeous things that I want to buy and it’s driving me insane! Seriously, who doesn’t love some retail therapy?

June is now here which means it’s back to school again. Classes were supposed to start this Tuesday, June 9th, but it got postponed due to the Department of Health’s advisory regarding the swine flu (A(H1N1) flu virus). Our country already has 46 A(H1N1) cases so far and 7 of those are students from another university. It’s starting to scare me when I think about it. Our school might soon have its 1st case, who knows? And considering that I ride the public transport, what if one of my fellow passengers is already infected? I’m still hoping for the best though.
Anyway, on the brighter side of things, Kaye and I went shopping for school supplies. We got those pretty and also pricey notebooks from Fully Booked. I’ve always wanted to buy one of those gorgeous notebooks and I think it’s nice to reward myself after a rollercoaster academic year. We also bought some pens and other supplies at National Bookstore. I think it’s quite obvious how excited I am for classes to finally start. LOL

With only less than a month away before the 1st semester of another academic year begins, my mom’s slowly giving my wardrobe an overhaul by throwing away some of my shirts and replacing them with whatever she thinks I should be wearing. I’ve always been a jeans and shirt type of girl but I don’t mind dressing up for school. I don’t mind wearing fancy shoes either even if I’ll always prefer wearing rubber shoes or sneakers to my mom’s dismay. She hates seeing me in sneakers but I guess she’s glad that thank goodness I have a huge thing for flats. I find them comfortable compared to heels so I really love them. Unfortunately, the package from my aunt and grandmother arrived last weekend and instead of seeing a new pair of Mary Jane’s, three new pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor’s greeted her instead.
