I just thought that I should make a post in celebration of that time of the year when romantic comedies, love songs, mushy stuff and romance in general are in full bloom. I have an imaginary boyfriend. Well, scratch that because I’m kidding. I have a non-existent lovelife but I’m very much happy and contented spending Valentine’s Day yearly with my family and friends. It’s also a good thing when your mom’s birthday is on the 13th so the happiness is still carried over the next day because in a way, we’re still celebrating.

Interestingly enough, I got something last Friday. One of my girl friends gave me a chocolate shaped like a rose and our guy professor gave all the girls in his class a heart-shaped pink candy. I’m very thankful to both of them for their thoughtfulness and sweetness. I also find it amusing that while working on this post Notting Hill was being shown followed by Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. There goes some love inspiration, I guess. And so without further ado, I’m going to spam you with several love-related photos.

Lady GaGa’s The Fame Monster, is my album of the week and I have this feeling it could well be my album of the month considering that I couldn’t stop listening to the whole thing! Her album this time around talks about her fears – her fear of love, sex, suffocation, etc. Every track is so amazing including Telephone which features Beyoncé and I have to say that even the only ballad Speechless is among my favorite tracks. It’s a song she wrote for her father and it’s the same song she performed at the American Music Awards recently after her Bad Romance number. I’m attaching her performance of Speechless from the Ellen DeGeneres show since it’s such a beautiful song and clearly demonstrates her talent and how amazing she is live. :)

My little sister had cupcakes for her 18th birthday, which was actually last month but I only posted this picture now. My mom arranged the cupcakes in a Pyrex dish and the most amusing part was when she placed Belle^A on top of the center cupcake. It was a simple family affair that ended up with all of us having cupcake frosting in our faces! LOL
