I’ve finally seen the movie but not in a movie theater. Someone uploaded a telesync version of the movie. The video quality’s a bit similar to a cam version but a little better and the audio quality is actually good. I really wanted to see this movie for the LULZ and I guess, “be careful what you wish for” happened. I really didn’t see the movie in its entirety because I got bored. The beginning was so boring and dragging that I had to skip parts after mopey!Bella appeared. I really hated this book in the series. I haven’t finished Breaking Dawn yet because I couldn’t bring myself to finish it so I guess I should reserve my judgment until I’m finished with it. Back to New Moon, nothing really changed with Edward’s acting. I actually miss the HP GoF RPatz. I still think he was way hotter in that movie compared to this series. Mopey!Bella was too painful to watch. I skipped most parts including the shirtless Taylor Lautner and his wolf pack and went straight to the Volturi part. Dakota Fanning was a refreshing sight even if her part was so small. In addition to that, remind me why Alice is my favorite character in this series. She can do no wrong in my eyes. Alice/Jasper FTW! Also, I wish there were more scenes for the Cullens because I do adore their family. On another upside, I thought the movie was an improvement from Twilight.

Just when I thought I have a new show to watch out for, The CW canceled “The Beautiful Life” due to low ratings after just airing 2 episodes! Boo! Lately though, I’ve heard this on E! News that the show’s unaired episodes after it was canceled will eventually be aired this summer which may or may not give the show a second chance. I’ve also read this article regarding the issue and although The CW hasn’t confirmed anything yet, I’m already keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that it will get a second chance. It’s just sad that they were quick to put the show on the chopping block because of low ratings. They should’ve at least given it a chance and see if the ratings do improve after a few more episodes. :(

Last week was a boring week simply because there were no new episodes of my shows, thanks to US baseball. Since I didn’t want to die of boredom, I decided to try out other shows last Thursday. I sampled Eastwick and I find that I really liked the whole “Charmed meets Desperate Housewives” vibe to it. I’ve only seen 2 episodes of it so far though and have yet to download the rest in order to catch up. I’ve also seen Tin Man which I know was shown 2 years ago. I burned it on a CD last year and only watched it last Saturday night. I managed to finish all 3 parts of it and I enjoyed that one as well despite being too gloomy. I guess I have to thank the fact that it’s another Wizard of Oz re-imagining that’s why I liked it and partly because Zooey Deschanel is in it. The last show I sampled was Merlin and I must say that I’m really in love with this show! I’ve finally finished Season 1 and I’m now trying to catch up with Season 2. Looks like I’ve added another show to my list of weekly downloads!

I know the 2nd semester of Uni starts again for me in a week but I’d like to build a list of shows to watch just in case boredom strikes again. Do you have any TV show recommendations? If yes, just let me know in the comments. I’d greatly appreciate it. :)
